The Project.
JH Group have recently had the privilege of transforming the derelict O&M Shed on Welsh Back into a structurally sound and vibrant space for Cordwell Property Group.
This iconic building, once a symbol of Bristol’s historic dockyard, had been left unused for years. Now, it’s set to become BOXHALL Bristol—a premium food, beer, and music venue that will breathe new energy into the city’s harbourside!
The Result.
The O&M Shed holds a unique place in Bristol’s history, standing as one of the last remnants of the city’s industrial docks. Abandoned and weathered by time, the building was in desperate need of restoration. Our team worked tirelessly during 2024 to refurbish the structure, ensuring it’s safe and that its ready for its exciting new chapter.
Opening in summer 2025, BOXHALL Bristol will be a hub of activity, featuring seven kitchens run by the best local and independent food traders. Paired with an events program showcasing Bristol’s vibrant music and cultural scene, this new venue will be a must-visit destination for locals and visitors alike.
